Title: Hose Assemblies for Milk and Milk Products.


3A 62-01 standards cover the sanitary aspects of hose assemblies fabricated of sanitary couplings permanently attached to multiple-use hoses of flexible thermoplastic, rubber, or rubber-like materials used as product contact surfaces on or in equipment for the production, processing, and handling of milk or milk products. These standards do not cover hose assemblies which utilize band, Strap, or worm gear-type clamps customarily used to secure removable fittings.
